News you cannot live without: i have an ENORMOUS bite on my left ankle that has been giving me grief for days and i'm ready to take a grater to it, it's so itchy.

And now for something completely different.

el lodger is going to teach me swahili. i stunned her by knowing one word of swahili. Bwana. It means 'sir' or similar term of respect to a man.

12 days to HP7 and then a weeks holiday to follow.......

...and now to go and pester mini-me for my dinner.

Your name always reminds me of a book I once read (long long ago) called "Kumquat May, I'll always love you" ... don't ask what the book was about, I only remember the title!
I got your wine today! Went to a proper wine shop as we had nasty surprises from our supermarket's wine selection in the past, and I thought this way I could get some advice by someone a bit more knowledgeable than me!
